Research

My research focuses on independence of dimensions in complex acoustic
stimuli. I am pursuing two parallel lines of research, one on speech, the
other on complex non-speech stimuli. Both lines of research employ
multidimensional models of perception and decision making. This work is
being carried out in close collaboration with Dr. Lentz as well as Dr.
Kenneth de Jong in Linguistics and Dr. James Townsend in Psychology.
