If you have never taken the day off to attend the Women in the Workplace Conference of the Office for Women's Affairs (OWA), then you have definitely missed out on an extraordinary treat. Established by OWA, the conference is designed to provide staff women on our campus with the opportunity to relax as well as rejuvenate, network and to acquire information that enhances professional and personal life. OWA's Fall 2009 conference, the tenth in the series, convened at Bloomington's Hilton Garden Inn. It offered an off-campus respite and space for approximately 250 attendees. Mark your calendars now to attend the Fall 2010 conference on Friday, November 12th, which can provide the benefits from a day spent learning, relaxation and networking.
