Living Legend Award
Instituted in 2008, the Office for Women’s Affairs’ Living Legend Award honors a member of our campus community whose accomplishments are legendary in their impact on our campus and/or broader society. Winning criteria reflect areas of creative activity, service, teaching and/or the scholarship of teaching and learning. A committee representing a range of interests is appointed by the Dean of Women’s Affairs to assist in selecting the recipient. This year’s committee is chaired by Professor Iris Rosa. The OWA Outstanding Staff Award winner receives $1,000 and a plaque at a special recognition ceremony. The Living Legend Award recipient will receive a plaque and a $1,000 prize at a special recognition ceremony on May 10, 2010.
Criteria: The primary criteria for the award is a demonstrated outstanding impact in the areas of service, creative activity or teaching in ways that make a tangible difference in the lives of women on campus and/or in broader society.

CVs can be attached to the nomination form, emailed to owa@indiana.edu or sent to 1021 E 3rd St Memorial Hall E123, Bloomington, IN 47405. Please email owa@indiana.edu once you have submitted the nomination with the name of the nominee and the names of those who will be writing the three letters of recommendation.
