Nina Mehta
Nina is the Assistant Editor for Majority Report, Coordinator for the Commission on Personal Safety and a staff researcher. Nina worked as a professional journalist at The Indianapolis Star and was granted a 6-week leave to attend the highly respected Poynter Institute summer fellowship program in St. Petersburg, Florida. She earned her B.A.J. in Journalism with second major in Political Science. Nina's undergraduate studies granted her the opportunity to travel in London to research newspaper design, study British politics and work at epolitix.com. Nina returned to Bloomington to work at the Journalism School and Kinsey Institute as a graphic designer. She is now pursuing her Masters of Science in Human Computer Interaction design in the School of Informatics and Computing. Nina was born and raised in Schaumburg, Illinois. She is a devout backpacker, electronic music enthusiast and loves good typography. |
