Katrina Reynolds Katrina Reynolds is the Assistant Dean and Director of Student and Staff Advocacy. A graduate of Indiana University with a baccalaureate degree in 1993 and a juris doctorate in 1996, she has 8 years of student services and administration experience. "…the thirteenth child in a family of fifteen children and in a family as large as mine; there are often many different points of views on just about everything. I am a mediator by nature and quite frankly, I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to difficult situations. From my youth, I have always preferred historical novels and autobiographies over fiction because the reader gets a sense of the life of another person. Working as an advocate has a similar appeal because a person's problems are shared in the form of a story. I enjoy the creative process of figuring out the dynamics of each client and look forward to hearing issues that are presented. I believe that my educational and family background will serve as a good foundation for this position in OWA because of my commitment to fair process and the belief that everyone should be heard and participate in the solution." An Indiana native, Katrina is married to Chris Reynolds, Senior Associate Athletic Director with the Department of Athletics, and they have an eight year-old son, Joshua, and a five year-old daughter, Olivia. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys taking long walks, cooking, reading, and a good cup of tea. |
