Uugwanga

| IU East Chancellor David Fulton welcomed Paulina Uugwanga, director of the Northern Campus of the University of Namibia (UNAM) for a month-long campus stay that began in mid-October.
An educational partnership, funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, was formed between the two schools to help UNAM create a development strategy. The grant provides for a series of faculty and administrator exchanges between IU and UNAM. During Uugwanga’s visit, the first of several exchanges that are planned, she shadowed key administrators as well as attended community events.
In February, Fulton and Susan Shapiro, director of the Teaching and Learning Center, will travel to the Namibia campus.
