WHAT: Dr. King Candlelight Vigil
TIME: 5:30 p.m.
PLACE: The Clock Tower

DESCRIPTION: Participants are invited to bring a speech, poem or presentation to share during the commemoration of Dr. King’s works.

Thursday, Jan. 29
WHAT:  “How to Handle Racist and Stereotypical Comments”
TIME: 12:15 P.M.
PLACE: Scribner-Clark Room
SPONSOR: Office of Equity and Diversity
DESCRIPTION:  The program will define what racism and stereotyping are, their effects and how to best handle comments that are racist or stereotypical in nature. Bring a sack lunch.
