IPFW community partnerships and private ventures providing opportunities and services to Northeastern Indiana

Michael A. Wartell
Chancellor, IPFW

When northeastern Indiana community businesses and organizations develop relationships with IPFW, both partners are winners. Such associations have a positive impact not only on the region’s economic development, but also on IPFW’s relationship to the community.

With each new alliance comes additional opportunities for the creation of new ventures. Fort Wayne Community Schools, the City of Fort Wayne, ITT, Leadership Fort Wayne, Parkview Hospital, Raytheon, SCAN and several community investors are involved with IPFW organizations like the Community Research Institute, the Helmke Library and the IPFW School of Business.

The university offers programs and services that are as varied as the people who use them. As part of this region, IPFW has clearly established itself as a key provider of opportunities and services not available anywhere else in the area.

IPFW distinguishes itself as a key provider in the economic development, social welfare and cultural life of northeastern Indiana and remains dedicated to serving its citizens. It is clear that IPFW’s role in community partnerships will continue to grow. Northeastern Indiana will continue to flourish in part because of the integral role played by IPFW.

In the "Today's feature" section, I invite you to read about these vital community partnerships and public-private ventures that IPFW is pleased to offer to the citizens of northeastern Indiana.
