IU’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) faculty have
a long history of service as editors of distinguished journals in
the field. In addition to Maureen Pirog
(see Pirog on child poverty, public policy), a number of SPEA
faculty are at the helm of professional publications.
The newest editor to be named is Matt Auer, IUB, as editor-in-chief of Policy Sciences. He will be joined by Sheila Seuss Kennedy, IUPUI, as associate editor. Their terms officially begin in January and run for four years. Policy Sciences is one of the top journals in the field of public policy and public affairs.
