IU/Purdue Blood Donor Challenge winner to be announced at Old Oaken Bucket game Nov. 22 in Bloomington.
| The 7th annual IU vs. Purdue Blood Donor Challenge is underway, and those willing to donate blood at any of the 13 Indiana Blood Center locations in central Indiana or American Red Cross centers in Bloomington and Jeffersonville can add points to the scoreboard in this friendly competition between Indiana’s Old Oaken Bucket football rivals. Donations are being accepted through Friday, Nov. 14.
The school with the most donors will be honored at the Indiana-Purdue football game on Nov. 22 in Bloomington. Last year, IU won the contest with a record number of 4,678 units of blood donated, but Purdue leads the series 4-2.
