| “Show Your True Colors: A Cream and Crimson Homecoming” is the theme for homecoming festivities on the IU Bloomington campus Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 17-19.
Activities actually begin Wednesday, Oct. 16, with registration for the first International Alumni Homecoming and Reunion. Student activities open with the “Yell Like Hell” competition Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall of the Indiana Memorial Union.
The 44th annual homecoming parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, followed by a pep rally at the Sample Gates.
The 15th annual homecoming brunch begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in Mellencamp Pavilion (see Web site below for ticket information).
The Hoosiers will face Iowa at 11:10 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Stadium. Because game time is subject to change, an open house at the Devault Alumni Center, scheduled from 9-11 a.m, and the homecoming brunch, may be rescheduled to begin two hours before ki
ckoff.
At 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, the official homecoming show will be Blast II: SHOCKWAVE at the IU Auditorium. The show had its world premiere at the America Gardens Theatre at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center and is a sequel to BLAST!, the
2002 Tony and Emmy Award-winning production.
