Highlights of IU Bloomington’s annual
homecoming celebration
• Oct. 9, 7:30 p.m. Yell Like Hell" at Alumni Hall, Indiana Memorial Union
• Oct. 10, 5:30 p.m.: 45th annual homecoming parade; IU President Adam Herbert and his wife, Karen, are the grand marshals. 6:30 p.m. Pep rally at the Sample Gates, bonfire afterwards in Dunn Meadow
• Oct. 11, 11 a.m.: 16th annual homecoming luncheon, Mellencamp
Pavilion, two hours before the football game against Northwestern.
Game is tentatively set to begin at 1 p.m.

Information about street closings for
the homecoming parade
The following Bloomington streets will be closed for the homecoming parade Oct. 10: Rose Avenue from Third Street north to Seventh Street from 4:15 p.m. until approximately 5:30 p.m., Third Street from Union Avenue west to Indiana Avenue from 5:30 p.m. to approximately 6:30 p.m., Jordan Avenue from 10th Street south to Third Street from 5:15 p.m. until approximately 6:15 p.m., Seventh Street from Jordan east to Union Street from 4:45 p.m. until approximately 5:45 p.m., and Indiana Avenue from Third Street north to Seventh Street from 5:45 p.m. until approximately 7:30 p.m.
For the pep rally, Kirkwood Avenue will be closed from Dunn Street east to the Sample Gates from 5:30 p.m. until approximately 7:30 p.m.
