IU Northwest’s Theatre Northwest marks its 40th anniversary this year. Begun by a troupe of five local actors appearing in the comedy Bell, Book and Candle, the theatrical effort launched a tradition of live theater on the campus which evolved into IUN’s bachelor of arts degree program in 1974.
