| At 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Woodburn Hall 120, the inaugural J. Gus Liebenow Lecture will be presented by Amos Sawyer, former dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Liberia. This is the 40th anniversary of the Arican Studies Program at IUB.

IUB Chancellor Sharon Brehm is scheduled to be grand marshal at the 43rd annual homecoming parade on the Bloomington campus Friday, Oct. 12. IU meets Illinois at Memorial Stadium the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 13, and Willie Nelson performs at the IU Auditorium that night at 8 p.m.
