The second annual “Dunk the Deans” fundraising event for the IU School of Medicine is set for 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, on the lawn in front of Fesler Hall on the Indianapolis campus. The initial event in 2002 raised about $10,000 for the IU-Moi University program in Kenya. Dunking opportunities begin at $1 for a softball and expand to, well, the size of a basketball and a $20 donation.
