Photo by Chris Meyer Meyer's image of the IU Southeast Library garnered a first prize award at the University Press Photographers' Association annual symposium.

A photograph that ran as cover art in the Feb. 11 edition of IU Home Pages has won a first prize in the University Press Photographers' Association's annual symposium contest. The picture of the granite and brushed steel IU seal embedded in the floor of the new IU Southeast Library (at right) in New Albany was shot from the second-floor balcony by HP photographer Chris Meyer (pictured below at Niagara Falls). The library was formally dedicated June 28.
