H.M.S. Pinafore

The "PercepTable" at the Indiana State Museum's watershed exhibit.

· Come aboard the H.M.S. Pinafore, July 29-30 and Aug. 5-6, at the Musical Arts Center on the IU Bloomington campus.

· An exhibit at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis allows visitors to select a "storm event" that dumps more than a half-foot of rain across the state, flooding river banks and sending millions of gallons of water gushing through the state's watersheds. "Watching Your Watershed" was developed by the IUPUI Center for Earth and Environmental Science and IU's Pervasive Technology Labs. Check it out on a summer field trip!

· When Purdue University Calumet's Academic Learning Center opens this fall, the facility also will house several IU Northwest offerings. Thanks to a partnership developed between the two northwest Indiana regional universities, IU Northwest will hold eight classes at the Merrillville-based Academic Learning Center. Additionally, for the convenience of students and their busy schedules, some classes offered by each university will provide an opportunity for joint or equivalency credit with either institution.
