IU Southeast to offer a degree in journalism

The new degree was approved by the IU trustees last year and received approval recently from the Indiana Higher Education Commission.

Jim St. Clair, coordinator of IU Southeast's journalism program, said the university has spent the past four years working toward obtaining the bachelor's degree program for journalism.
