We take you today to the Nature Conservancy Web site of a photo exhibition titled In Response to Place. In celebration of the organization’s 50th anniversary in 2001, 12 renowned photographers, including Annie Leibovitz and William Wegman, captured the rich and complex splendor of what the conservancy has named the "Last Great Places," ecologically important areas from around the world. Take an armchair tour or plan a visit to the Indianapolis Museum of Art, where the photo exhibition is installed through Aug. 3.
