the award’s inception 50 years ago. The newest recipients, recognized

DeCoudreaux of Indianapolis; Patricia R. Miller of Fort Wayne; and

The Kokomo campus first-of-its-kind IU baccalaureate
program in professional communication will enroll its first students
this fall. The new major brings together course work in writing,
communication arts and information technologies. Graduates are expected
to seek employment in business and manufacturing, publishing, non-profit
organizations, the computer industry, science fields and advertising.
