| IU Kokomo’s newest structure, the Virgil and Elizabeth Hunt Hall, will be featured in the 2002 Education Design Showcase, published by College Planning and Management magazine.
Formally dedicated last autumn, Hunt Hall houses instructional and office space for programs of the campus’ natural and allied health sciences, some mathematical courses and the university’s physical plant department.
The limestone structure contains audio-visual and computer facilities, plus more than a dozen labs for biology, chemistry, physics, physiology, geology and anatomy classes.
The building was chosen for inclusion in the new publication for its “outstanding architecture and design in education.”
