Making math and science fun for kids

IPFW's annual Math and Science Camp is July 22-26 on the campus. The camp is for incoming seventh and eighth graders and promises fun and hands-on learning experiences that will excite youngsters about math and science.

Students will build problem-solving skills in mathematics and physical sciences using curricula from the National Science Center Task Force. Camp instructors are university professors and high school and middle school teachers. The camp is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students are expected to bring their own lunches. For more information or to obtain an application, call Continuing Studies at 260-481-6619.
