This is the third year the IU Kokomo Alumni Association and its "Tardy’s Troopers" team will participate in the Relay for Life walkathon at Kokomo High School Friday, June 18.
Participants walk in one-hour shifts during the relay, which runs from 6 p.m. on Friday until 6 p.m., on Saturday, June 19. Donations and additional pledges gathered by walkers benefit the local office of the American Cancer Society. "Tardy’s Troopers" team is named for Jerry Tardy, the president of the IU Alumni Association who died of cancer in 2002. To sign up, telephone 765- 455-9411.
