• The Indiana Department of Commerce has won Site Selection magazine’s second annual Competitiveness Award, based on 10 quantifiable criteria for measuring business-expansion activity that took place last year. The full story is in this month’s issue:

• Intel’s second annual “Most Unwired College Campuses” survey, released last month, found IU Bloomington to be the primo unwired campus, followed by Purdue University; the University of Texas at Austin; Case Western Reserve University; and Dartmouth College, respectively.
• Yee-hah, cowboys! A production of OKLAHOMA!, a
collaborative venture of the IPFW Department of Theatre and
the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, is scheduled Nov. 18, 19 and
20 at the Fort Wayne Embassy Centre. A traveling company will
perform the Broadway classic next spring at the IU Auditorium.
