| The School of Optometry has cooperative agreements with comparable programs in Poland and Thailand. Dean Gerald Lowther is the external advisor to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Optometry Program. The school is also in the process of developing arrangements with several institutions in China.
Faculty routinely travel to scientific and educational meetings around the world to present the results of their research and to teach. The overseas eye-care facilities are located at Ramkhamheng University in Bangkok, Thailand, Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland and the Eye Care Center in Guanajuato, Mexico.
