He likes teaching freshmen, he says, because theyre excited about school, open to ideas and hungry for knowledge | Meet Mehmet Dalkilic, an IU professor of informatics on the Bloomington campus who has been named the 2002 Favorite Teacher of the Year by Alpha Lambda Delta, the freshmen academic honorary society. New initiates of the IU chapter nominated Dalkilic because of his energy, rapport with students and the quality of his undergraduate instruction.
Dalkilic coordinates the instruction and design of the School of Informatics basic introductory course.
