IUSM seeks participants for gastroenterology study

The IU School of Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology is seeking participants for a research study for a new method of treating for Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational device to treat the disease.

Participants much be 18 years of age or older, have experienced persistent or frequent heartburn, epigastric pain and difficulty swallowing. All qualified participants will receive study-related health assessments and should be willing to participate in the year-long research study.
