Pediatric Travel Clinic opens at IU’s Riley Hospital

A Pediatric Travel Medicine Clinic at IU’s Riley Hospital under the directorship of Dr. John C. Christenson has opened.

The clinic is devoted to preventing travel-related medicine problems in young international travelers, and evaluating and treating pediatric travel-related illnesses.

At the clinic, families can receive extensive education in preparation for travel, including medical information pertinent to a particular itinerary. The clinic also offers appropriate medications, vaccines and advice needed to protect travelers.
