 Horvath | Kathy Horvath is one person who really knows what’s happening. As Webmaster in the IU Northwest Web services area of the Office of Information Technology, she has a handle on everything going on at the Gary campus.
She should. After all, she manages the Real-Time Event Scheduler, a tool which allows anyone with an event to coordinate at IUN to schedule rooms, request AV equipment, request catering, notify marketing that pamphlets or programs are needed, and request production services for IHETS, cable programming, satellite conferencing or PolyCom— all with one click of the mouse. AND, with no retyping, that one click also integrates the newly scheduled event into the IU Northwest Campus Dynamic Calendar and any other departmental or organizational calendars that are appropriate. Talk about one-stop event planning!
