IUB’s Little 500 begins its second half century | |
 | IU Bloomington is a distinctly pedestrian-friendly campus but the whirring sound of bike wheels and gears shifting in sprockets is a spring passage as student teams complete preparations for the IU Student Foundation’s Little 500 events. In its first year, IUSF raised enough money to award sixty $100 scholarships to working students on the Bloomington campus. In the past 50 years, a sum that exceeds $850,000 has been raised in scholarship monies.
