Native American Seminar begins at IUK Thursday

IU Kokomo’s Native American Seminar begins next Thursday (April 19).

The six-week evening course will highlight the Cherokee Nation and its language. Participants can learn how to speak basic words and phrases of everyday conversational Cherokee and hear hymns sung in the Cherokee dialect. The course will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. on four consecutive Thursdays, April 19 - May 10.

Course fee is $45 per person or $75 for a family of four.
