Happy anniversary, IU Press

In 1951, the IU Press published its very first title, Travels in America 1816-1817, written by Edouard de Montulé.

Celebrate a half century of dedication to quality publishing as the IU Press holds its 50th anniversary book sale Thursday (April 19) at the Frangipani Room of the Indiana Memorial Union, IUB, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The IU Press will be giving the first 1,500 visitors a free book and Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Dirda will be signing books from noon to 1:30 p.m.
