Alzheimer disease patients sought for study

The Department of Neurology at the IU School of Medicine is seeking individuals with Alzheimer’s disease for participation in a study.

The study is investigating a surgical device to determine if it will stop or slow the progression of Alzheimer disease.

Participants must be between 62 and 85 years of age, in the early to middle stages of Alzheimer disease and in otherwise good health. Approximately 12-16 visits are required during the course of 18 months.

Reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses for caregivers will be provided.
