 Haubegger | Latina entrepreneur Christy Haubegger will present “The Making of ‘Latina’ Magazine” at the next Omnibus lecture on the IPFW campus Wednesday (April 17) at 7:30 p.m. in the Walb Student Union Ballroom. Haubegger will share her inspiring success story and how she learned to overcome obstacles to achieve her vision.
The founder of Latina, the first bilingual magazine targeted exclusively to Hispanic women in the United States, Haubegger is a dynamic personality breaking down barriers for Hispanics in business and mainstream media. In November 2000, Latina published Latina Beauty, the first comprehensive beauty and wellness guide for Hispanic women in the United States. With a significant investment from Solera Capital LLC, Haubegger plans to expand Latina Media Ventures into other media. |
