Activities commemorating the inauguration
of IU’s President Adam W. Herbert next Thursday are being
put in place on the Bloomington campus. For those unable to
attend the inauguration in person, live coverage via teleconference
is planned on all state-wide campuses and by real-time videostream
online.
Following a state-wide public forum on tuition and mandatory fees, trustees approved tuition costs for the coming academic year. They also approved the appointment of Thomas Healy to a new IU vice presidency for government relations.
The IU School of Medicine has received the second largest federally funded grant in its history for the HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment program created collaboratively with colleagues at Moi University in Kenya.
