Asset Allocation-IU Retirement Plan

Studies have shown that the key to successful retirement investing, whether investing for growth or for income during retirement, is asset allocation. That is, the type of assets (stocks, bonds, cash) is more important than market timing or the selection of specific funds.

On Wednesday (March 5) University Human Resource Services and TIAA-CREF will sponsor a session on asset allocation for IU Retirement Plan participants (including those currently investing with Fidelity Investments) in developing good retirement investment strategies.

The one and one-half hour session will be presented twice: at 10 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. in the Oak Room of the Indiana Memorial Union on the IU Bloomington campus.
