 Staples | Brent Staples, who has written on education, politics and culture for the New York Times’ editorial board, will discuss “The Crisis in Education,” including the state of higher education, school funding and special education at a gathering Feb. 8 on the IPFW campus.
Staples will speak at 7:30 p.m. at Walb Union as part of the Omnibus Lecture Series. His memoir, Parallel Time: Growing Up in Black and White, recounts his childhood in Chester, Pa., where he grew up in a family crippled by poverty and alcoholism. |
