@ Work archives
Beginning in the fall of 2002, IU Home Pages started a new
online column: a digital image album called @Work.
We’re inviting all employees to send us the digital images they
shoot of individuals or groups in their IU work environments. They
may be digital shots (or photographs, if you’re using a conventional
camera) of faculty or staff working with students, employees singled
out for exemplary mention, a special award presentation or profile
shots of people in their various campus haunts.
Send us your digital @Work submissions, high resolution, to homepgs@indiana.edu
or photographs by campus mail to Home Pages, Poplars 721, IU Bloomington.
Questions may be directed to 812-855-6494. We hope to hear from
you!

Mitch Rice
We started the column with a picture of our own Mitch Rice,
the computer guru who keeps things running smoothly for the
IU Home Pages and the IU Office of Publications on
the seventh floor of the Poplars on the Bloomington campus.
Rice is a MacIntosh specialist and provides technical support
for the hardware and software used by graphic artists and
writers each day. Mitch began work at IU in January 2001 and
when not at work, spends time researching, playing and performing
old-time music. Those who attend Bloomington’s Farmers’ Market
on Saturdays may have heard him from time to time playing
his banjo.
