If you know of a college-bound student who needs help filling out
financial aid forms, here’s an incredible aid for students and their
families.
College Goal Sunday is scheduled at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 9, at 34 sites in 29 Indiana communities. Most sites will close by 4 p.m.
Filling out financial aid papers can be complicated and time consuming. College Goal Sunday, now in its 14th year, makes it easier, providing college-bound Hoosiers help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Most colleges, universities and vocational/technical schools in the nation require students seeking federal financial aid, including grants and loans, to complete the FAFSA.
Students should attend with a parent or guardian and bring completed IRS 2002 1040 tax return, W-2 Form or other 2002 income and benefits information. Students who attend without a parent should bring their parents’ completed 1040 tax returns, W-2 Forms or other 2002 income and benefits information.
