Muller

Keep track of opportunities throughout the IU campuses during Life Sciences Week, Jan. 22-29.

This Web site is a work-in-progress and new uploads will feature ways the life sciences will affect quality of life and the economic future of Indiana. On the horizon: an Occupations in the Life Sciences exhibit at the IU East Library (through January); an IU Conference on Aging and Living Well in Indianapolis Friday, Jan. 28 (register online); and an exhibit at the Lilly Library in Bloomington Jan.21-31, featuring the work and times of IU geneticist and Nobel laureate Hermann Joseph Muller.

Muller’s experiments on fruit flies (Drosophila) first showed that exposure to radiation caused mutation in living organisms.
