| Mitch Daniels, a Bush Administration official, will be opening speaker at the fourth annual Bulen Symposium on American Politics at IUPUI, Dec. 10. Daniels, director of the Office of Management and Budget, will speak at 8 p.m. in the University Place Conference Center. The theme of this years’s symposium is “The Dividing Lines of American Politics: Redistricting the Parties and the Public.” L. Keith Bulen, who died in 1999, was for many years chairman of the Republican Party of Marion County and the party’s national committeeman for Indiana.
