 | Showtime cable network will premiere the mini-series Fidel on the evenings of Sunday, Jan. 27, and Monday, Jan. 28.
The four-hour screenplay about the controversial life and rise to power of Cuba’s Fidel Castro is based on two books: Georgie Anne Geyer’s Guerilla Prince and Robert Quirk’s Fidel Castro, published in 1993. Quirk is a professor emeritus of history at IU Bloomington.
