· Charlie Nelms, IU vice president for student development and diversity, compiled a book of quotes, phrases and inspirational thoughts from his many writings and speeches two years ago. Reared in the Alabama delta region, Nelms called his book Start Where You Find Yourself: Lessons Taught and Lessons Learned; it's selling for $12 at Bloomington bookstores and proceeds will go to the Hoosier Hills Food Bank, the American Red Cross and the World Food Program. He's hoping to place it in bookstores around the state. If you are interested in obtaining a copy, send an E-mail to homepgs@indiana.edu.
