NSSE (pronounced Nessie)

No, it’s not a Loch Ness monster, but the acronym for National Survey of Student Engagement, in which students from 321 colleges and universities anonymously participate in a program to ascertain the quality and delivery of the undergraduate experience. Final results of the 2001 spring survey will be released in November. In an upcoming issue of IU Home Pages, we’ll talk with IU’s George Kuh, an IU Chancellor’s Professor of education and director of NSSE.
