| Juan Andrade Jr., co-founder and president of the U.S. Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI) based in Chicago, will be the keynote speaker during IUPUI’s Hispanic Heritage Month activities, Sept. 15-Oct. 15.
Andrade will speak at noon Thursday (Sept. 20) at IUPUI’s Lilly Auditorium in the University Library. Known for his unique presentations combining humor and life experiences, Andrade is committed to promoting education and leadership development for high school and college students. USHLI is a national nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that has organized and conducted more than 1,000 campaigns through which 2 million Americans have registered to vote, and published 313 studies on Hispanic political demographics. The institute is the nation’s largest leadership development organization with more than 185,000 citizens participating in its various programs that include high school and college students, grassroots community leaders and public officials.
