| “Protest,” a dual exhibition of arpilleras, Chilean tapestries, and “Colophon,” 40 self images by women printmakers, opens Friday, April 12, and continues through May 15 at Artlink in Fort Wayne.
The tapestries were made by family members of the “disappeared” during Augusto Pinochet’s military dictatorship, which began in 1973 and lasted until 1989. The collection of 40 self-portraits by women printmakers was organized by Jauneth Skinner of Bemidji State University, Minnesota.
The opening reception is from 7- to 9 p.m., featuring Marjorie Agosin of Wellesley College.
