‘Cravings’ author Felman at IUPUI March 6

Jyl Lynn Felman, professor of women’s studies at Brandeis University, is the featured guest at the Rufus Reiberg Creative Reading Series event Wednesday, March 6. She will speak at 4 p.m. at the Lilly Auditorium of the University Library, IUPUI. The event is co-sponsored by the Women’s Studies Program at IUPUI and the IU Office of Student Life and Diversity.

An author, performance artist and lawyer, Feldman is the author and performer of If Only I’d Been Born a Kosher Chicken, a one-woman show that aired in 1997 as part of C-SPAN’s performance series. Her memoir, Cravings, was published in 1997 and Hot Chicken Wings, a collection of short stories, was a 1993 Lambda Literary Finalist.
