Inclined Lifts

Portable Lifts

This picture is separated into two parts.  The left-hand side shows an off-white portable lift in its lowered position.  The right-hand side shows and off-white portable lift with the platform in the raised position. This picture shows three steps to using this portable lift.  Step one is entitled “Load” and shows a man in a manual wheelchair wheeling onto a platform lift.  Step two, entitled “Lift”, shows the same man now on the platform lift and a woman standing behind him on the ground operating the lift controls.  Step three is entitled “Leave” shows the same man and woman.  This time the bottom of the platform lift is about waist-high to the woman, who is still standing on the original level.
