We're relying on volunteers to help make this year's MBLGTACC the best it can be. We need help with the following positions:
- Greeters: Stand by the door of event locations and greet people as they arrive
- Set up/Take Down: Help prior and post events with things like decorations, room arrangement, and clean-up
- Direction Givers: Hold specified stations around campus and give conferees directions to conference locations as needed
- Registration: Staff the conference registration table and check people in as they arrive
- Program Assistants: Bring program evaluations and presenter gift to the sessions, distribute and collect them, and assist with presenter set-up needs
- Runners: Stay by the registration table and escort groups of people to conference sites
- Volunteer Headquarters: Hang out in the volunteer HQ, and step in if a volunteer does not show up and carry out other duties as needed
In return, volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, conference gift, lunch on Saturday, and if you are you not registered to attend the conference you will also receive a pass to attend the workshop of your choice.
There will be two volunteer orientations (Saturday February 7th 2-3pm in IMU Distinguished Alumni Room or Sunday February 8th 2-3pm in IMU Charter Room); it is mandatory to attend one of them so you can receive instructions and your free t-shirt.
