This system is optimized for live-cell imaging. The sensitive Cascade-II EMCCD camera in conjunction with the Yokogawa CSU-10 spinning disk confocal head enables images to be captured under low light conditions with excellent temporal resolution. The reduced photobleacing/toxicity of this system allows imaging over longer time periods than our other systems.
Features:
- Nikon TE2000U Inverted Microscope platform
- FRAP/Photoactivation using the Mosaic System (Photonics Inc.)
- Lasers for Green or Red fluorophores (ie. GFP. FITC, RFP, TRITC)
- Can also collect bright-field and DIC images
Temperature control available
- Controlled by Metamorph imaging software
